UFC 221 will be taking place on February 10th in Perth, Australia. With the Interim Middleweight Title on the line, EA SPORTS UFC 3 is happy to announce its first official simulation featuring Middleweight #1 contender, Yoel Romero, and #2 contender Luke Rockhold. After current Middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, pulled out due to injury, the UFC has put an Interim Belt on the line to keep the division moving forward.

After current Middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, pulled out due to injury, the UFC has put an Interim Belt on the line to keep the division moving forward. After three rounds of back and forth, even-strength action, Luke stuns Yoel at the end of the second, and again early on in the third, giving him an opportunity to submit Yoel late in the 3rd, ultimately winning the Interim Middleweight belt, and the right to face Robert Whittaker to unite the division.
